Doris Toronyi – SVP Appraisal & Finance
Doris joined Liquid Asset in 2009, bringing with her 19 years of experience in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Auditing and Logistics in manufacturing operations as well as 9 years in Human Resources. Her ability to discern asset values & complex financial structures led her to grow from our finance department to Senior Vice President of Appraisals & Finance. Her quest for customer satisfaction and willingness to help drives her to go the extra mile for banks, attorneys & business clients. Her major accomplishments in appraisals are confidential under USPAP, but her value was instrumental in the financial analysis for the cross border liquidation of 62 Big Lots stores across Canada (think: 5 time zones, 6 tax structures, foreign currency conversions, import/export, & expansive client reporting needs in 27 days). Doris graduated in Business Management from Davenport University and is a Certified Equipment Appraiser with the AMEA. She is the Founder of FATE, Fun Again Toys for Everyone, a 501(c)3 charity that collects donations of gently used toys that are then distributed to families in need for Christmas. Doris is also an avid flower gardener, active supporter of Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan along with her husband Brian, and proud mother of Greggory, a University of Michigan graduate, and Andrew, who will be heading to Central Michigan University in the fall of 2015.
